Taidetta ja tutkimusta yhdistävä Prosessi / Der Prozess on (muun muassa) sarjakuvablogi ja artikkelisarja, joka tarkastelee väkivallan syntymekanismeja, lähtökohtanaan tarina sodanaikaiselta suomalaiselta internointileiriltä Suursaaresta: tarinan mukaan leirille viedyt juutalaispakolaiset käskettiin valmistamaan piikkilankaa käsin.

Savu E. Korteniemen toteuttaman projektin tuottajana on Lapin Taiteilijaseura ja rahoittajana saksalainen EVZ Stiftung. Projekti sisältyy EVZ:n rahoitusohjelmaan Pakkotyöläiset ja unohdetut uhrit (Zwangsarbeit und vergessene Opfer).

Toteuttaja on vastuussa projektin sisällöstä, eivätkä julkaisut edusta EVZ:n näkemyksiä.

The project Prosessi / Der Prozess uses artistic and researchal practices to analyze the questions of the reality of violent practices. The is project based on the story from wartime Finnish internment camp where Finnish guards put Jewish refugees to make barbed wire by their bare hands.

The project results will have various formats – for example form of the article series and a working diary with graphics. Most of the project results will be published only in Finnish at this time, but notations on social media channels and the homepage of the project are in English also. Stay tuned 🙂

The executor and coordinator of the Prosessi / Der Prozess is visual artist and writer Savu E. Korteniemi (MFA). The project Part One (from May 2020 till August 2021) is managed by the Artists’ Association of Lapland and funded by Foundation EVZ. The project is included in the funding programme Forced labour and forgotten victims.
